VJ Books Presents Author Tim Green!

Author Tim GreenTimothy John Green was born December 16, 1963 in Liverpool, New York. He graduated from Syracuse University College of Law in 1994. After graduating Green was drafted 17th overall by the Atlanta Falcons in the 1986 NFL Draft and served as a commentator for the NFL on Fox.

Green is also an accomplished author. After writing more than a dozen books for adults, Tim began writing a series of novels for young readers set in a world of sports taken from his own experiences as an athlete and a coach. In the meantime, Tim has visited over 1000 schools and spoken to nearly a half million students across the United States about the importance of education and character, in addition to the joys and benefits of reading! As an attorney, Green has been of counsel with the law firm Barclay Damon LLP in New York State since February 1999. He has been integrally involved in the company and has assisted in growing and developing the firm's client base focusing in energy and intellectual property. In May 2014, Attorney Green partnered with former Assistant District Attorney Scott Brenneck to form their unique firm, Tim Green Lawyers PLLC.

Tim serves on the board of the Golisano Children's Hospital in Syracuse, NY, as well as the National Writing Project. He lives with his wife, Illyssa, their five kids, and two dogs in Upstate New York. When Tim isn't writing, he enjoys boating, fishing, hunting, reading, and spending time with his family and friends.
