VJ Books Presents Author Taylor Anderson!
Taylor Anderson is the New York Times bestselling author of the Destroyermen series and has recently released the first book in his newest series Artillerymen, Purgatory’s Shore. Set in the same amazing world created in the original alternate history series, fans are sure to once again be on the edge of their seat as a group of unassigned American soldiers attempt to battle unknown creatures when they should have been fighting in the Mexican-American War.
Anderson has had an interest in writing since childhood, but novel-writing came to him later in life. As a gunmaker and forensic ballistic archaeologist, Anderson has been a consultant and prop expert for many historical films, factual and fictional, such as The Alamo and The Patriot. He has also worked as a consultant to both the US Navy and the National Parks Service in his capacity as an archaeologist.
Anderson's interest in history and fascination with what might have happened led him to begin writing novels in the genre of alternate history. His books are exceptionally well researched, and draw upon Anderson's experience as a sailor, historian, and cannon-maker.
Anderson holds a Master's in History. He was born and raised in Texas and currently lives in Granbury, Texas with his family.
