VJ Books Presents Author Sarah Prineas!
Sara Prineas is originally from Lyme, Connecticut. She holds a PhD in English literature.
Prineas is a fantasy author. Her first novel, The Magic Thief introduced readers to the irascible wizard Nevery and his gutterboy apprentice, Connwaer, whose adventures continue here. The Magic Thief series has received starred reviews in Kirkus, Booklist, and Bulletin for the Center for Children's Books. Sarah was named Publisher's Weekly Flying Start author in spring 2008.
Before writing novels, Prineas wrote fantasy short stories for adult markets. In 2008, she donated her archive to the department of Rare Books and Special Collections at Northern Illinois University.
Prineas rural Iowa with her husband and two kids.
