VJ Books Presents Author Roger Hobbs!
Roger Hobbs (born 1988) is the award-winning author of Ghostman and Vanishing Games (July 2015). He is a graduate of Reed College in Portland, Oregon, where he studied narrative, film noir, and ancient languages.
His first play was produced when he was 19. He was writing for The New York Times at 20. He signed his first movie deal at 21, graduated Reed College at 22, and signed a book deal with Knopf / Random House at 23. At 24 he became an international bestseller and signed his second movie deal. At 25 he won the Ian Fleming Steel Dagger, one of the most prestigious awards in thriller writing.
His writing has appeared in The New York Times, ThugLit, Hit and Run Magazine, Pseudopod, and in several anthologies.
He loves to travel, gamble, and make snarky comments about bad movies.
