Robert Harris was born in Nottingham in 1957. He studied English at Cambridge University. He has been a television correspondent with the BBC and a newspaper columnist for the London Sunday Times and The Daily Telegraph. In 2003, he was named Columnist of the Year in the British Press Awards. His novels have sold more than ten million copies.
