Ridley Pearson
 Our son Mitchell turned 18 yesterday - I know, I can't believe it either. It seems like just yesterday that I was reading PETER AND THE STARCATCHERS to Mitch and his younger brother, Evan. "Let's read PETER" became a nightly request. That book was Ridley Pearson's first title written for a younger audience. We devoured it, and the subsequent sequels - Peter and the Shadow Thieves, Peter and the Secret of Rundoon, Peter and the Sword of Mercy, followed by the Bridge to Neverland.
In addition those co-authored with Dave Barry, Ridley's list of young adult titles continues to grow. His latest Kingdom Keepers novel, THE SYNDROME, arrives the first week of March, with DISNEY LANDS, the ninth book, following three weeks later. Add three Neverland titles, SCIENCE FAIR (also with Dave Barry) and two Steel Trap books, and it rounds out Pearson's young adult catalog.
 
Ridley was the first to sign a book for me, before VJ Books began, and that Lou Boldt title, UNDERCURRENTS, is still one of my favorites. With nearly thirty suspense novels in print, Ridley continues to produce great stories for young and old alike.
