VJ Books Presents Author Richard Price!
Richard Price was born in New York City, New York on October 12, 1949. He earned a B.A. from Cornell University and an MFA from Columbia University.
Price is an author, screenwriter, and teacher. He has published articles in The New York Times, The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, and others. He has taught writing at Binghamton University, Columbia, Yale University, and New York University.
Price won the American Academy of Arts and Letters Award in Literature in 1999. In 2007, he won the Edgar Award for his writing on the HBO series, The Wire.
Price currently lives in New York with his wife, Lorraine Adams, who is also an author.
