Ben Forbes, DEA, requests FBI's, John Logan to obtain Galen's assistance in a plan to get rid of Colombian drug king, Rico Chavez. The plan consists of the team extricating Elena Kyler from Columbia. Elena has informed Forbes that she has something that will bring Rico into the US where he can be apprehended.  The only problem is she is currently on the run from Chavez in Columbia. Johansen brings in three new protagonists in this novel. Logan is normally distantly involved arranging things by phone in many Johansen's novels. As is her style, Johansen provides romance and complicated characters in many of her suspense thrillers. Johansen fans will enjoy this novel. Don't start this one too late in the day, I had to stay up late to finish the book in on sitting.
