With her marriage in shambles, Attorney Nina Reilly runs to Lake Tahoe with her son. Only Nina Reilly believes her client is innocent. It doesn't look good for Misty Patterson, local barmaid accused of bludgeoning her abusive husband to death. Misty has no memory of the night of the murder. Misty has a history of emotional problems from the age of ten. Legal battles with the psychologists provide razzle-dazzle in the courtroom. Complex plot, lots of changes occurring for Nina in this volume. Good Suspense novel with complex plot with a dash of romance. A good read.
