VJ Books Presents Author Mike Maden!
 Mike Maden grew up in Central California. He had a lifelong fascination with history and politics ultimately leading to a Ph.D. in political science from the University of California (Davis). During that time, he focused on the areas of conflict, technology, and international relations.
After brief stints as a campus lecturer, political consultant and media commentator, Maden turned to studies in theology and a decade of work with a Dallas-based non-profit where he eventually discovered fiction writing. DRONE was the result of a recent challenge by two published friends to try his hand at a novel. DRONE was the first in his series featuring Troy Pearce.
After writing four novels in Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan, Jr., series, Maden joined the Clive Cussler writing team, taking over THE OREGON FILES Series with the release of HELLBURNER. His latest Cussler novel is FIRE STRIKE.
Maden and his wife Angela live in the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee.
