VJ Books Presents Author Michael Harvey!
 Michael Harvey was born and raised in Boston. He did his undergraduate degree in Classical Languages at Holy Cross College, followed by a masters in Journalism from Northwestern University and finally a law degree from Duke University.
Harvey's work as a journalist and documentary-maker has earned him numerous awards, including multiple news Emmys and an Academy Award nomination. He has in the past worked as an investigative producer for CBS in Chicago, and he is currently the executive producer, co-creator, and writer of prime-time, true-crime television series Cold Case Files.
Harvey's first crime novel, The Chicago Way, was published in 2007, and he has continued writing ever since. He lives in Chicago, where he owns a pub called The Hidden Shamrock, and enjoys spending time with his wife, Mary Frances, and their dog.
