The subtle complexities of the case point to the fact that he really doesn't deserve to go to prison. the pressure builds as she tires to mount a convincing defense. With help from Tony's grandson, a terrific guy and a hunk to boot, it looks as if Judy just may get her client off the hook. Reviewer: M. CLEMENT from COLLEGE STATION, TX United States
A great read in the Rosato & Associates series set in Philadelphia. Judy Carrier takes on the case of Anthony Lucia aka Pigeon Tony, a lovable old man who is responsible for the death of mob-connected, long-time rival Angelo Coluzzi, who murdered Tony's wife in Italy 60 years ago. Angelo's life's work has been to destroy Anthony because he married the woman that Angelo had planned to marry. Both men are members of the local pigeon-racing club. Judy pleads with Tony not to take the stand, but Tony wants his say. From day one Tony has said that "he kill him, but he no kill him." A relationship develops between Judy and Tony's Grandson, Frank who helps translate Tony's Italian and to ensure that Tony understands Judy. Scottoline delivers a satisfying mix of sex appeal, action, and courtroom drama for her fans.
