VJ Books Presents Author Laura Dave!
Laura Dave was born in 1977 in New York City. She developed an interest in writing at an early age, and went on to study English at the University of Pennsylvania. After graduating with her bachelors, Dave earned an MFA from the University of Virginia's creative writing program.
Dave has written for Glamor, Self, and ESPN the Magazine. Her short fiction won her the AWP Intro-Award in Fiction and she is the recipient of the Henry Hoyns and Tennessee Williams Fellowships. She is the author of 6 novels, several of which have also been optioned for film/television. She lives in California with her family.
