Author L.S. HiltonLisa Hilton (also known as L.S. Hilton) was born in Liverpool, UK on December 15, 1974. She graduated from the University of Oxford and then studied history of art in Florence and Paris. She is an author, biographer, historian, journalist, lecturer, and broadcaster. She has written for magazines including, The New Yorker, GQ, Vogue, Marie Claire, and more.

Her latest novel, Maestra, is being turned into a Hollywood film.

She has lived in New York, Paris, and Milan but now resides in London with her daughter Ottavia.
