It will be difficult to write about this without giving too much away...but this fifth installment of the Jack Daniels series will have you laughing all the way to the front and back doors...as you go to lock them out of paranoia. Seriously, though, imagine being trapped in your house with your mother, fiance, your sleezy friend, and the craziest mass murderer you've ever encountered. Add to that the reason for being trapped and you have one nasty day.

This was another awesome book where the smart-alec banter is laid out perfectly amidst the moments of sheer terror. As with each of the "Jack" books, the title is symbolic to something specific pertaining to the story. The meaning behind Fuzzy Navel is hideous, but odds are, you'll chuckle when you find it.

Although this is part of a series, it can be read as a stand alone book. But, the laugh-and-murder combination makes reading the previous books worth it.
