Jenny
Milchman
writes suspense and hails from New York State. She has been dreaming up stories since the tender age of 2 years old, and has always wanted to be a writer. She began her post-secondary education at Bard College and finished at Barnard College with a double major in writing and psychology. She became a psychotherapist, and continued writing as a hobby until a particularly tough case inspired her first thriller.
Getting published proved to be a difficult pursuit for Milchman, and it took 11 years and 7 more manuscripts before she finally published novel number 8. Her debut novel, Cover of Snow, Since then she has published 4 novels and an assortment of short stories.
Milchman serves as Vice President of Author Programming for International Thriller Writers, and in conjunction with Authors on the Air, hosts the Next Steps radio show, featuring ITW members. She is also the founder of Take Your Child to a Bookstore Day and an online forum called Made It Moments, which has featured over 200 international bestsellers, Edgar
winners, and independent authors. She co-hosts the literary series
Writing Matters and teaches writing and publishing for the New
York Writers Workshop and Arts By The People.
Milchman currently lives in the Hudson River Valley with her family.
