James Grady
I first became aware of James Grady when I read THE SIX DAYS OF THE CONDOR back in 1974 - the first of many political/spy thrillers I would go on to love. It was adapted into a feature film the next year, renamed - The Three Days of the Condor - I guess six days is kinda long for a movie. It was directed by Sydney Pollack and starred Robert Redford, Faye Dunaway, Cliff Robertson, and Max von Sydow, and received an Edgar Award for Best Motion Picture Screenplay.
Grady is the author of fifteen thrillers including MAD DOGS, STEEL TOWN, THUNDER and WHITE FLAME. His latest, THE LAST DAYS OF THE CONDOR, was just released to advance praise from some of the best recognized names in the genre.
"Last Days of the Condor shoots high-caliber, nonstop suspense and action from the first to the last sentence, a page-turning, ultramodern, sexy spy thriller with compelling, multigenerational characters fighting to save themselves and our shadowed American dream. Terrific!" ŃStephen Hunter, Pulitzer Prize-winning author of Point of Impact.
