Jack Du Brul's first novel, VULCAN'S FORGE, was published in 1998. It features Phil Mercer, mining engineer and geologist who is drawn into various threats to the world. Mercer continues to save mankind as he conquers different threats in seven follow-up books concluding with 2015's THE LIGHTNING STONES.
From 2005 to 2013 Jack co-authored with Clive Cussler following the adventures of Juan Cabrillo and the steamship Oregon. The seven OREGON FILES titles all were NY Times bestsellers.
In 2019 Jack penned THE TITANIC SECRET, THE 11th book in Cussler's Isaac Bell Adventures. He followed with THE SABOTEURS in 2020.
Du Brul himself has seen his fair share of adventure; he has climbed Masada at noon, swum in the Arctic Ocean off Point Barrow, camped in Greenland, and been gnawed on by piranhas in the Amazon River. All told he has visited over 25 countries. In his spare time, he collects zeppelin memorabilia enjoys relaxing in his favorite chair with a book and a brandy.
Jack currently resides in Virginia where he is hard at work on the next Isaac Bell Adventure, when he's not on his favorite stool in Tiny's Bar waiting for Phil Mercer to make an appearancce.
