VJ Books Presents Author Isla Morley!

Jeff Abbott Isla Morley was born and raised in South Africa. She has lived in such diverse locales as Johannesburg, London, and Honolulu. She earned a degree in English Literature from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University.

After graduating, Morley worked as a magazine editor in South Africa until she married an American and moved to California. There, she spent over a decade working for non-profits that assisted to women and children. Her first novel, Come Sunday, was published in 2009. It was a finalist for the Commonwealth Prize and won the Janet Heidinger Kafka Award for Fiction

Morley currently lives near Los Angeles with her husband, daughter, and an assortment of animals.
