VJ Books Presents Author Graci Kim!
 Graci Kim was inspired to write books for young people that feature characters of the Korean diaspora. As a child, she didn't have the opportunities to read about kids like herself, and, as an adult, she's set out to change that.
Before becoming an author, Kim ran away with the circus, worked as a diplomat for the New Zealand foreign service, hosted a cooking show, and managed a company that made stuffed animals based off of children's drawings. Kim lives in NZ with her husband and their daughter.
