VJ Books Presents Author Dean Crawford!
Dean Crawford was born in Farnborough, England in 1973. He wanted to be a fighter pilot as a young man, but found that goal to be out of reach due to his color-blindness. At 19, searching for another path, it occurred to him that he would like to write novels, and he spent 15 years writing novels and screenplays and attempting to enter the market as a published author. Finally, Crawford found his footing and Covenant was published in 2011 after a fierce bidding war for the story.
Crawford now writes full time and is one of the most successful independent publishers in the United Kingdom. In addition, his traditionally-published books have frequently made their way to the Sunday Times paperback bestseller list. He has made a point of careful analysis of the market for fiction and continues to write for both traditional publishers and his own indie label, Fictum.
Crawford writes primarily action-adventure and science fiction, and enjoys reading the same. He is an enthusiast of aviation, motorcycles, and virtual reality. He currently lives in Surrey, England with his family.
