VJ Books Presents Author Brian Freemantle!
Brian Freemantle was born in Southampton, England in 1936. He is the author more than thirty books, which have sold more than ten million copies worldwide. He also writes under the pen names Jonathan Evans and Jack Winchester.
He has been foreign editor and chief foreign correspondent for the London Daily Mail and foreign correspondent for the London Daily Sketch, among others. In 1977, Freemantle introduced the world to the Charlie Muffin series and won international recognition.
Freemantle has gone on to write other series featuring Sebastian Holmes, the illegitimate son of Sherlock Holmes, and the Cowley and Danilov series, about an American FBI agent and a Russian militia detective who work together to comabt organized crime in the post-Cold War world.
He lives in England.
