VJ Books Presents Author Ben Mezrich!
 Ben Mezrich was born February 7, 1969 in Boston, Massachusetts. He graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Social Studies from Harvard University in 1991.
Mezrich ia a New York Times bestselling author of fiction and non-fiction books. Some of his books have been written under the pseudonym Holden Scott. Mezrich is best known for his first non-fiction work, Bringing Down the House: The Inside Story of Six MIT Students Who Took Vegas for Millions. The story was made into the movie 21, released in 2008. His first novel, The Carrier, was published in 2001.
With a writing career spanning 19 years, Mezrich has authored eighteen books/novels, with a combined printing of over 4 million copies. Mezrich has appeared often on TV, including a stint on Court TV with a series titled "High Stakes with Ben Mezrich." The show utilized his unique contacts to explore the culture of young, highly educated millionaires and their clandestine hobbies. Mezrich also hosted the "World Series of Blackjack" for GSN.
