VJ Books Presents Author Alex Grecian!
Alex Grecian was inspired by the birth of his son to leave his career in marketing and pursue his dream to become a novelist. Although he had been quite successful in advertising, working on accounts such as Harley-Davidson and The Great American Smokeout, he was unhappy in his profession. With the support of his wife, he simultaneously raised his son and launched his writing career, often getting up in the early hours of the morning to write before tending to his family responsibilities.
Grecian began co-writing graphic novels with Riley Rossmo, and the two published their first work in 2006. Their Proof series was named among the best books of 2009 by NPR. He published his first traditional novel, The Yard, in 2012. The book made the New York Times Best Seller list and the Kansas Notable Book Awards List, and was nominated for both the 2013 Barry Award and the Strand Magazine Critic Awards. Since then, the story has developed into the Murder Squad Series.
Grecian currently lives in the Midwest with his wife, Christy, and their son, Graham.
